Menu Plan Monday

Hey Guys and Gals, it's that time of the week...I'm late with the posting of our menu plan.
Here it is:

Monday: Crockpot Chicken breasts with cream of mushroom soup, carrots and onions served over brown rice. Side of green salad.

Tuesday: Hamburger soup with whole wheat buns.

Wednesday: Tuna wraps with broccoli and cauliflower salad.

Thursday: Breaky for supper: French toast made on fresh thickly sliced fresh bread...mmm...

Friday: Chicken Stirfry

Saturday: Homemade Pizza night and movie with the family....

Sunday: Roast Beef, stuffed potatoes, yams and greek salad.

Here's the recipe for the Hamburger soup that I'm going to try
Courtesy of
1 pound very lean ground beef
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 cups boiling water
1 beef bouillon cube or beef flavor granules
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 cup celery, sliced
1 cup carrots, sliced
1 cup macaroni, cooked & drained
Crumble uncooked ground beef into slow cooker. Add pepper, oregano, basil, seasoned salt, onion soup mix. Stir in water, bouillon, tomato sauce and soy sauce; then add celery and carrots. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours. Turn to HIGH and add cooked macaroni and Parmesan cheese. Cover and cook on HIGH for 10 to 15 minutes.Makes about 6 servings.

Have a great week of eating!!

sounds super tasty! And nice, light and fluffy.
I should be doing menu plans again. I was for a while and I found it really helped me keep the kitchen in order and know what to buy at the store. I'm real bad for letting food for bad in my fridge, cuz I'll be at the store and think, oooh, I'm gonna make that, then I don't :(
But when I had a menu plan I didn't have that problem. Hmmm....check out my blog next monday and see if I follow thru?
