No Willpower!!

....and it's not me!
Tonight after our carefully planned dinner of porkroast with cauliflower/broccoli and brown rice my husband was complaining on the couch.
"Is there anything sweet in the house?" he grumbled.
"Nope..nothing!" I smiled proud that my house is a no sugar zone.
"No ice cream?"he asked.
"Nope." I replied.
"Oh...how about those cookies you make hun?? You know the oatmeal and raisin ones?" he said."They aren't hard to make are they?" he asked.
"You want me to make you cookies?" I asked.
"Would you?"he said and gave me the look....I have to say he does this incredibly sweet mixed with a sexy look that I always falter to.
So I ended up "whipping" up 2 batches of the cookies for Scott. He had not one...not 2, not 3, not 4 but I swear 5 oatmeal/raisin cookies.
And I had not 5, not 4, not 3,2 or 1...I didn't give into temptation.
Oh well, he probably put on one of the 5 pounds he needs to lose...what am I saying...I'll end up putting on the pound on for him!!!
So much for willpower though!
I'm off to bed.
Good night everyone!
Jenny

Well done. I read in a book that when faced with the choice of crap food or good food, you should visualize a cutting board, with lean, trimmed meat on one side and all the fat, skin, etc on the other. Then (obviously) you imagine yourself choosing between eating the pile of fat, or else eating the lean meat. Totally disgusting... but it seems to work! (blech)
