I was slow on the take. Scott knocked over the Christmas tree and I waited til after I picked up the ornaments(and the tree!!) to take a picture. What a friggen mess!! It doesn't help that our tree is "dryer than Georgia asphalt"...I don't know if Georgia's asphalt is dry, I have always assumed so. The reason why our tree is so dry is that we had a leaking tree holder. So being lazy we decided to stop watering it and just take it down a day or 2 ahead of schedule. (the more I think about it the more I like the idea of a fake tree!!)
My living room is covered in needles, so I guess everyone can guess what my plans for tonight are!

Yep...nothing wrong with a fake tree! I've only had a real tree once and it kept falling over and it had cocoons so we had moth's in our house for xmas...yay!
