Happy New Year!!!

Scott had to start early tonight for work (we have a leaky basement so he started his shift earlier so he can come and help with the cleanup)so we celebrated New Years in the Eastern time Zone.
Tonight we watched Pirates of the Carribean(the second one...a Christmas present) and ate some appies. We watched the ball drop in Times Square and celebrated with a toast of pop from everyone. It was a mellow New Years but I got to celebrate it with the most important people in my lives so I don't mind at all where we celebrated it.
On New Years Eve 1990 Scott told me for the first time he loved tonight I was telling the boys that and Josey said, "oh mom not another boring love story about daddy!" and Gavin said, "Aww Yucky!" We certainly have come full circle. That New Years Eve celebration we were in Whistler and having a party at Staff Res. The only word I can use to describe it is "Crazy" (some were literally jumping out windows??)

~I saw this on another blog and thought I would participate in it.
Snippets from 2006~What I learned...........
-I don't have to question my faith.
-Zits aren't attractive on teenagers, let alone a 35 year old fat woman.
-When someone tells you not to drive down a hill that is icy don't think it's okay to drive up it...(scary scary situation)
-blowing kisses to your son in hockey isn't really cool.
-Karma is a bitch
-That old adage that love keeps on growing is so husband continues to amaze me with his undying love and support he has for me.
-I have made some great friendships in Blogland.
-Never underestimate yourself. Believe in who you are, even if others don't.
-Listen to your intuition.
-Don't paint with your husband while you're PMS'ing.
-This periomenopausal crap SUCKS!!!
-Laser hair removal has become a necessity.
-I have contentment and peace in my life...keep the drama out please.
-I don't miss the days of diaper changing. It is freeing to know that
those days are long gone for us.
-Drinking wine and high heeled boots don't mix~sprained ankle...
-Having someone say "I believe in you" is everything.
-My 9 year old knows more than me in Science...and Socials...
-Wrinkles can appear within hours...
-When you buy someone a Christmas present (say your sister) don't decide
to try it on(say a necklace) because something may happen to it (maybe break) and
sometimes these gifts may be hard to replace!
-I won't buy cheap toilet paper ever again.
-Double thick quilted toilet paper plugs my toilet up.
-The Bronchitis diet works wonders...I lost 9 pounds during the Christmas holidays.
-40 is the new 30...I'm telling myself this 5 years in advance...just to prepare myself.
-I am beautiful...I am loved...I am blessed...I am worthy
-I can't wait to find out what I learn from 2007!
Peace and blessings to all of you!
