Some Pics....

Currently my house resembles an Easter Egg. I love the colour of our newly painted living room and upstair hallway. The entry way is a lavendar, the kitchen is a pink with the dining area wallpapered in a dusty rose pink old lady colour. The computer room is a nondescript gray as is the bathroom. I have finally chosen the colour scheme for our main floor...drum roll....
There are the rooms before we paint: (it'll still be awhile to finish but you'll get why I say we live in an Easter Egg!)(the purple wall is the wall in the entry way.)

The lighting doesn't do the colours justice. The colour we've chosen for the kitchen has a slight tinge of green/blue/grey. It's exactly the colour I've been looking for. The bathroom colour is gorgeous, it reminds me of a frosted glass. Our bathroom will look stunning when we paint and eventually I'd like to add some wainscotting to it. The reddish brown colour you see in the next picture is actually what I've been considering painting the computer room. I want to put up all of our masks, ethnic stuff, world maps etc. and have it as an old world looking room. That'll be the last room to paint, so who knows I'll probably stick to the entry way colour. I love owning a house!!!! It's awesome...(BTW, the living room colour isn't at all that dark!)

Anyhow, hope I didn't bore everyone!I'm off to peel wallpaper!!

Enjoy your evening!

I feel your joy! There is no pain when it's your own home is there! Hal and I are enjoying it and with Shari's and other friends guiding us it's going really smooth.

I can't wait to see it when you've got it all finished and the office sounds like it will be stunning when finished.

I know what you mean about owning a house. What a blessing it is to be able to make it anything you want hey? I love that too. Annabelle's birthday is in July and Adam and I are painting pink her room pink and doing the princess theme in there. I can't wait. It is so exciting. I plan to post before and after pics so all can see. I am sure you will too. Can't wait to see how it all turns out.!!!

Nice transition in the colours. They work really well together.
