For Men and Faint of Heart Don't Read Any Further....

Like the title said for those who don't want to be seriously grossed out don't read any further. I'm warning you.............................................................
I love my dog. She is a member of our family. She is always by our side with a wagging tail and a big sloppy tongue ready for kisses. I won't be kissing her for some time.
I just walked in to the computer room and there she was. As soon as I looked at her I knew she was into something she shouldn't be in. Immediately she looked down. She quickly got up and scattered out of the room. She was chewing on what looked like a pigs ear?? But wait we dont' have pigs ears? I am almost embarassed...okay, I am embarassed at what she was chewing on. Why am I even sharing this intimate detail online???
My dog was chewing on a used feminine hygenic product that she stole out of the bathroom? Because we are on a septic system I can't flush this particular item down the toilet. Forget about throwing them out I should just throw them to my dog for a treat!!! NOT!!!! Gross!!!!!!!!! I forget that Gypsy is an animal sometimes. I guess that's an animal instinct!! I can't be mad at her, but I am GROSSED out!

Okay...I probably scared the men away!!! Sorry guys!!! Had to rant!!
Have a great night!!
Jenny

Mine has also done that...dogs are disgusting, when you think about it, why did we domesticate them?!

I still love my dogs more than some of my extended family so it just goes to show how cuteness will overshadow even the most disgusting of habits!

After the comment you left at my blog, I KNEW what yours had done!! hahahah!! A mama always knows!

okay, now that i've stopped laughing! Oh Jenny I can so relate to that story. When Cleo was a pup and I was staying at Mom and Dad's she did a similar thing. Our Minister was over spending time with Dad and Cleo starts zooming all over the house and Mom says "Oh, she's gotten into some of my thread or something?" I jumped up sooo fast and chased that little bugger all over the place and no way was she giving it up!! I was so grossed out and embarrassed...never again did anything get left in the bathroom garbage can!
Laughing with you,
Pen

Hahahah! I love that you shared this--some stories have to be told, no matter how gross! Thanks for the laugh. :)

The cats we used to have were definitely gross in their own ways--eating bugs, leaving a dead bird they caught in the garage laying on the steps for us (isn't that love?) Gotta love having animals around!
