In Detox

Well I thought I would apologize in advance, because the next few days I probably will be quite testy. As noted in the previous post I have realized I do resemble a Boohba. Therefore, I have taken matters into my own hands and started the "battle of the boohba". I have started the sugar detox officially today. It was tough. At around 4 pm I felt like I was getting the "DT's". The easiest thing for me to do with sugar is just go cold turkey. No ifs, ands and buts about it. I am starting with the greens again. I did find that they do help. I am not sure with what exactly but I felt better taking them. I do get extremely itchy after taking them, but apparently that is my body "detoxifiying". (Scary!!) I have started my food journal. I am going to increase my time on the elliptical tomorrow and hopefully I can get outdoors with the boys. I also have to study and pack. There's 24 hours in the day though right?? I watched Oprah today and totally got freaked out. Heart disease is the number 1 killer of women!! I don't want to become a statistic. I want to live a long, healthy life. More importantly we are planning on going to Mexico in February so I wouldn't mind looking less like a "Boohba".
Well...wish me luck. Tomorrow is the start of hard core "lifestyle" changing(aka The Diet). Goodbye Boohba... hello boombaliscious!!
Enjoy your day!
Jenny

Hey there boombalicious!!
I was thinking about you tonight. We missed you. She's a great person and so easy to talk to. Anyways I could tell that something was up with you on the phone. Don't beat yourself up so much, look at how much you've already lost, it doesn't have to be pound after pound, everyday. Your going through a stressful time right now....making the biggest purchase of your life and moving into it!!! Your going to do it. I admire your self control...wish I had some. I just sent Jason out for a chocolate fix, and you know if I have something sweet, I have to have something salty too. I'm bad, your good!! Take care.

Thanks for calling in at my site and leaving comments ... I love to read comments!

Pleased to hear you're being brave with the colours of your ligs ... do you have any pics of them?

I love purple so much I'm not sure if I want to ever change my uppers from them, but I do plan on being a bit more adventurous with my lowers and plan to go green and red for Christmas at my next adjustment! Take care and please call by again!

Also ... good luck with the purchase ... it's an exciting time and also a time of great uncertainity! Just remember ... what will be will be! The cosmos has already sorted it all!

Take care!

Jenny: Good luck with your anti-boombah diet. I love that. I'm dealing with a plateau in my diet---month 7--and I don't like it one bit.
