7 Things...

Is there any random fact about me that all of you don't know...I'll try...
1. I am a genealogy buff! It's the "cat's ass"!!
2. For years I pronounced "Yosemite Sam"...Yose-Mite(rhymes with Rose). I could never figure out who the heck Yosemite Sam was when they talked about him on Bugs Bunny. Scott was the one who taught me the proper pronounciaton. He still teases me about this..."we'll take a trip to "Yose(rhymes with Rose)Mite National Park?"
3. My favorite tweezers had an untimely demise the other day...I felt So sad...So, So Sad!!!(The word "freak" was tossed to me from Scott sometime during the day!)
4. I floss my teeth while watching tv every night. My husband thinks I'm whacked...I probably am.
5. My dad once caught on fire and was unscathed...he had been swimming in the lake moments before(get this) with his jeans on! How did he catch on fire you might ask? We were camping at Lakelse Lake and he wanted to light a fire. He grabbed the gas can, walked over to the fire and dumped some gas on it and then walked away with the gas dribbling. He ended up setting quite a bit of the site on fire. We were kicked out!
6. When we were younger we had a car that had a hole in the floor.(we were high class folk!!LOL) When we drove you could actually see the road. I thought this was cool, because we had a Flintstone Car. No one I knew had one of these!!
7. My family once went to Hyder Alaska with our Aunt and Uncle and cousins. This was in the day that the roads were gravel and it took 5-6 hours to get there.(longer for us, but read on and you'll see why) In this yellow Mazda hatchback we had Dad, Mom, Aunt Julie, Uncle Norvil, Pam,Kevin(our cousins)Amy, Brad and myself. My brother and I sat in the hatchback the whole way. I remember thinking I felt pretty squished. Whenever we hit a bump in the road we all had to pile out(because the car was running to the ground!LOL) and my dad would drive over the pot hole! Okay I am laughing my butt now over this one!! Oh what funny memories...and you wondered how this Mamaliscious came to be??
