Happy Anniversary to Us!!

Today is our anniversary. What a beautiful day our wedding was!! It was simple and everything I wanted in a wedding. We got married in Scott's Grandparents backyard. Their yard was a beautiful and tranquil setting. I got married in my barefeet and had a simple hippy styled dress.
The reception was at Scott's parents house. There was a full moon that night. We danced and celebrated under the moonlight. It was a very romantic ceremony and reception.
Since then (8 years ago...we dated for 8 years before getting married)our relationship has only blossomed. When he walks in a room I still think he's the hottest guy I've ever seen. I still get butterflies when I know that he's coming in from somewhere and I haven't seen him in awhile and we still have lots of passion for each other. He's the first person I turn to when I'm sad and he can give me one look that if I'm supressing my emotions, I'll just fall apart and let my tears flow. I feel safe with him and content in the life we are living.
I admire the sacrifices he makes for our family. I love the fact that we can have heated arguments one moment and the next moment be consoling one another.
He's my lover, my best friend and the man I'm growing old with.
I love you Scott! Looking forward to seeing what this next year brings!
