911

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Americans bowed their heads in silence on Monday where hijackers crashed two airliners into the World Trade Centre five years ago, killing nearly 3,000 people in the deadliest attack on U.S. soil.
Ceremonies starting on Sunday night revived traumatic memories of the day when al Qaeda hijackers attacked the twin New York towers and the Pentagon in Washington and seized a fourth plane that crashed into the ground in Pennsylvania
.

I can't believe it has been 5 years since the 911 attacks. I remember it as if it were yesterday. We had just moved to Terrace and my Inlaws were there to help us with our move. I remember watching what was on the TV and thinking..."this can't be real!"
Unfortunately it was all too real!! My thoughts and prayers go out to those affected in that tragedy...the survivors, family members, and the American public. America changed that day....
God Bless!

Jenny
