6 weird facts...

1. I count things when I am sitting in a room. For example, I have been known to count floor tiles and ceiling tiles.(I almost always win a jelly bean contest when I enter. I have a sure fire formula!! Okay...I'm a geek!!)
2. My ultimate dream would be to retire with my husband, sell our house and buy a little Spanish Hacienda in remote Spain.
3. I have to have my toilet paper placed on the roll with the paper facing up?? Confused...an easier explanation...so if I was in a Martha Stewart mood I'd leave a triangular flap on the roll.
4. I once cleaned Priscilla Presley's hotel room while I was doing a brief stint as a chamber maid. I was the slowest "Room Attendant" ever. Also the laziest. My 2 friends and I would quickly run a vaccuum over the carpet to leave track marks and wouldn't properly change the bedding!! (AAAH gross). We would then run to a room and watch General Hospital. Needless to say I only lasted 4 weeks as a ChamberMaid. They quickly moved me to a restaurant. (This was all done in a 5 star hotel!!!! I have some scary stories people!!!)
5. I once approached 2 Japanese men and told them "I was horny!" This happened while working at the same hotel mentioned above. I was working a breakfast buffet. My good friend Tony and Supervisor Brad told me to say a phrase to these fine Japanese men. I did...and I knew instantly that I must have said something inappropriate because the men's eyes were big with excitement and my 2 friends were standing in the far corner busting a gut!!! The good old days!!! (Like I said all done in a 5 star establishment!)
6. I went caving in Hungary Budapest. Some may not think it was a big deal, but I really don't like being confined. I even conquered the "Sandwich of Death". Imagine squiggling your body through little wee holes in the middle of the earth. That was the bravest thing I've done. (Shari followed suit a 3 years later.)
Not too exciting folks...

I don't think I could be a chambermaid either...I've heard alot of horror stories about things that people leave behind...and now I know that "some" people don't change the bedding properly, I don't know if I can stay in another hotel again, I'm always going to be thinking about that now. Ha ha!

Yeah I agree. I never touch my body on the comforters.(or allow my family to!!) I always take the comforters off the bed and just use the blankets underneath. Like I said I have many stories...

I used to work in a hotel too (front desk) and the things that housekeeping would turn into lost and found were disturbing. *shivers*

I couldn't imaging caving. I would need 48 Valium!

*Ewww on the comforters too!*
Hal questioned me the first time I did it and since then it's usually him who peels back the comforter.

I was a chambermaid as well and the stuff you came across or witnessed could curl the hair on an elephants toes!!!
